Pushing the heavy bags may look easy,
But there’s a weight on his shoulders we cannot see
Every single step he takes
Takes him only farther away from you
That long hug may ease your pain
Or the dew in your eyes may just roll down
And he still continues to smile on
So you don’t stop to
Is the taste of the dahi-shakkar sweet enough
To reduce the bitterness of the distance?
You wish you could give him a part of you, or whole,
Because you want to let him go, but you still don’t
It is day two, and everything is just where you left it
What makes it the most difficult, is the last goodbye.

Or the dew in your eyes may just roll down
And she still continues to smile on

    1. I understand it is indeed difficult but one has to move on in life. How long will one carry the baggage. It’s better to download and bid goodbye.
